VPI PCB Design has the experience and resources you need for your printed circuit board layout and design needs. Below are the two key individuals who oversee PCB design personel and activities, and who also complete many projects themselves.
Director of PCB Design
Kelly Wigington Kelly comes to VPI with 28 years of PCB design experience and has operated a successful PCB design service bureau for the past 20 years. During this time, he has gained experience in a wide range of PCB design requirements. Kelly specializes in high speed differential impedance controlled routing, sensitive analog circuit layout, EMI protection, and fine pitch BGA layout all with an emphasis on design for manufacturability. He has attained the highest certification standards in the industry as an advanced interconnect designer with IPC (CID+) through their intensive class work and comprehensive testing. Kelly has mastered great customer service skills and developed processes and procedures to get the job done efficiently and with the highest quality standards.
PCB Design and Layout Manager
Jason Stewart Jason manages PCB design and layout projects for VPI and is also involved in completing many projects as well. He has 10 years of experience working with complex systems, assembly, design, testing, diagnostics, PLD programming, schematic capture, PCB layout, circuit design, and environmental testing. Based on his broad experience in most phases of a product's design, Jason has the practical ability to quickly understand the requirements of a printed circuit board layout and design. Jason provides a high degree of technical expertise as well as excellent leadership abilities stemming from his years of service in the Marines. In addition to his abilities to design in several schematic capture and PCB layout software packages, he is proficient in the use of a variety of test equipment including oscilloscopes, power supplies, thermal chambers, vibration tables, and other electronic test equipment. Some of Jason’s prior experience involves design, testing, and manufacturing of military video applications, video circuits, piezo-electric ceramics, medical devices, bar code readers, radiation detection systems, and wireless control systems.
